About TRAC GROUP

Our approach

Unlike many rehabilitation services companies, the TRAC Group is co-owned by two clinicians – Registered Speech-Language Pathologist Christine McCool and Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse Ruth Leppard.

Understanding that clients receive better care when they receive a multi-disciplinary approach – instead of services offered in isolation from each other – Christine and Ruth have put together a highly skilled and experienced team of more than 20 clinicians to develop and deliver integrated programs and services that meet each client’s unique needs.

Who we serve

The TRAC Group provides bilingual programs and services to adults and children across all of Eastern Ontario—from Belleville to Hawkesbury to Deep River. Many of our clients are recovering from complex injuries, including traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and stroke.

What we provide

The TRAC Group provides a full range of rehabilitation programs and services, available in packages or on their own. They include:

Traumatic Brain Injury Program

Spinal Cord Injury Program

Vocational Program

Stroke Recovery

Home Health Care

Wheelchair/Walker/Scooter Assessments

Communication Aids Assessments

Group Therapy

When we provide services

We usually contact a new client within one day of an inquiry or referral and arrange an appointment within three to five days. Services usually begin within a week of the initial contact.

Many of our clients continue their rehabilitation with us after discharge from the hospital or an in-patient rehabilitation facility.

The TRAC Group also provides immediate services, on an interim basis, to clients who are on waiting lists for other rehabilitation programs and services.

Where we provide services

We provide services in homes, schools, workplaces and community settings – wherever our clients need them. Some services are also provided in our clinic at 161 Greenbank Road in Ottawa.
