About TRAC GROUP

Our approach

Unlike many other rehabilitation companies TRAC GROUP is co-owned by two Regulated Health Professionals. With their combined 47 years of education and experience – Registered Speech-Language Pathologist Christine McCool and Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse and Certified Life Care Planner, Ruth Leppard understand that clients get better care when they receive a multi-disciplinary approach – instead of services offered in isolation from each other.

It is through our in house multidisciplinary expertise in conjunction with community treating professionals that we are able to effect a change and difference in the lives of our clients.

The TRAC Group’s highly skilled bilingual team of registered health-care professionals and clinicians has extensive expertise and experience in addressing the complex needs of those recovering from injury or illness.

Our History

Christine and Ruth formed TRAC Group Inc. in 2002 to better serve complex, catastrophically injured clients in the community by developing the TRAC Group programs. As such, TRAC Group was a pioneer in establishing community based, multidisciplinary programs for individuals with catastrophic injuries using best practice guidelines, functional outcome measures, and incorporating the best aspects of the hospital and designated assessment centre models.

In 2007, the ultimate integration of these two firms enabled TRAC Group’s clinicians to increase their expertise through close working relationships with other disciplines. Additionally, amalgamation allowed TRAC to target a void in the market by offering comprehensive assessment and multidisciplinary clinical services under one roof with a focus of rehabilitation for complex and catastrophic care needs.

TRAC is an abbreviation for Traumatic Rehabilitation At Community

Christine and Ruth have put together a highly skilled and experienced team of more than 25 clinicians to develop and deliver integrated programs and services that meet each client’s unique needs.
