The TRAC Group’s highly skilled team includes bilingual Vocational Rehabilitation Consultants, Registered Vocational Consultants, Certified Vocational Specialist and Professionals, Vocational Evaluators, Disability Management Consultants and Registered Rehabilitation Consultants.

Our approach

TRAC Group provides client-centered, outcome-based vocations services for clients within a rehabilitation context and to clients in the general workplace who are interested in effecting a career change.

Our goal is to help each client achieve successful participation in vocational endeavors including an enduring return to work.

With respect to rehabilitation, our counsellors provide vocational and prevocational rehabilitation interventions. Our Vocational Rehabilitation Program prepares individuals to achieve a lifestyle of independence and integration within their workplace, family, and local community regardless of injury or illness.

The TRAC Group offers bilingual vocational and prevocational programs and services across all of Eastern Ontario—at home, at school, in the workplace or in community settings.

We contact a new client within one day of an inquiry or referral and services typically begin within a week.

We design and provide comprehensive, goal-oriented, proactive and effective vocational rehabilitation programs. We:

• Use objective, standardized assessment data to plan and implement services
• Provide flexible programming designed to meet the individual needs of clients during the various stages of recovery
• Offer vocational services through expert and experienced clinicians
• Provide programs in efficient time frames that ensure services are client-specific, co-ordinated and cost-effective
• Use standardized measures to monitor client’s progress, ensuring accountability to stakeholders
• Work as a team to set goals for discipline-specific treatment and for the client’s vocational and educational pursuits
• Use regular team conferences and bi-weekly teleconferences to communicate effectively and identify issues in a timely way
• Provide monthly educational seminars to help clients, families and caregivers better understand recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration
• Use quality assurance measures to make sure our vocational plans are goal-directed and meet stakeholders’ needs

Every TRAC Group client’s file is reviewed by either our Clinical Director, Vocational Manager or Discipline Specific Practice Leader, with a minimum of 12 years’ experience in community rehabilitation. This review ensures best practice guidelines and program protocols are followed and rehabilitation plans are working as they should be.
