Experience

Ms. Eyamie is a member in good standing with the College of Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals. Ms. Eyamie has worked in the field of injury/disability, with a particular focus on vocational return to work and disability management, since 2003. Work within this field has been comprised of vocational assessment and vocational rehabilitation services and management thereof to assist injured/disabled individuals in returning to gainful employment. It includes, but is not limited to; early intervention for individuals on Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, auto insurance and WSIB, vocational testing and assessment, coordinating and implementing return to work programs, work hardening and other modified work programs, job search strategies, vocational planning, employment counselling services, etc…

Skilled in managing ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of community/work integration programs, identifying barriers to and facilitating successful integration of clients into the workforce, and effectively communicating and consulting with medical professionals.

Currently, Ms. Eyamie is participating in training through the National Institute of Disability Management (NIDMAR) in order to become a Certified Disability Management Professional.
