Summary of Experience

Experience conducting learning needs assessment and utilizing evidence-based learning strategies and techniques to provide seamless delivery of learning related services to students with self-identified, documented or suspected learning needs. Experience providing customized learning strategy coaching and goal development. Experience reviewing Psychoeducational assessments and identifying and implementing appropriate academic accommodations.

Experience developing and facilitating workshops and presentations for community partners, students, staff and citizens, as well as developing and implementing classroom curriculum and learning at a post-secondary level.

Extensive experience in front line Human Services providing case management and support services to high risk, multicultural individuals and families facing pressures such as homelessness, poverty, addictions, physical and mental health challenges, abuse, sexual violence, identity confusion, suicidal ideation, and low self-worth. Experience using various counselling techniques, as well as excellent communication skills and crisis intervention skills to assess risk and assess the physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of clients while developing and implementing suitable intervention plans, and coordinating necessary community resources to meet client needs.

Experience coordinating the development, implementation, and evaluation of Social Service programs.
