Summary of Experience
Extensive experience as an occupational therapist and case manager, providing services within the automobile and long-term disability insurance sectors in Eastern and Central Ontario, and Western Quebec. Knowledgeable of relevant legislation governing provision of professional services within a variety of sectors (auto insurance, short-term/long-term disability & WSIB).
Experience and expertise in the provision of bilingual occupational therapy and case management services to a variety of client populations including individuals with traumatic brain injuries, complex soft tissue/orthopaedic and spinal cord injuries, as well as mental health diagnoses.
Experience in conducting: functional cognitive assessments and cognitive rehabilitation, physical and cognitive demands analyses, home functional and safety assessments, assessment of attendant care needs, assessment for catastrophic designation, ergonomic worksite consultations, pre- hospital home discharge assessments, functional restoration programs in home, community and clinical settings.
